thesaxguy Posted February 27, 2009 Share Posted February 27, 2009 I have a bunch of live music recordings of bands I work in that I recorded on my Tascam DR -1. A lot of the files contain multiple songs, but are one big sound file. I used the "auto Split" to separate the tracks, but ended up with over 100 sound files to sort thru. I am assuming that I can get Wave Pad to recognize the actual songs vs. crowd noise if I set the threshold high or low enough. I need to know where to set the threshold so that the software does not divide the crowd and other ambient noise into tracks. Anybody know about this ??
