debo326
When i recorded things on Wavepad using Wave Out Mix or Windows Record Mixer before, it worked fine and recorded at a good level when the volume of my computer was in the middle. Recently, I recorded something using a USB mic, and now when i try to record with one of the recording mixers, i have to turn the volume very low to keep the sounds I'm recording from clipping. Any ideas what's wrong and how to fix it??
Guest MichaelJee
Hi, Have you checked all the output levels at Start > Control Panel > Sounds > Audio tab > Playback recording *Volume button* I would imagine the driver for the USB mic has modified a level. Cheers M
