Jtskater812
I am recording my guitar by directly hooking up from the amp into the microphone slot. I want to be able to hear what I am recording so I can make sure it is sounding good. I tried to edit my sound options and turn the mono out up under the volume control, but after I did and tried to record it was back at 0. Anybody know of a way I can record, and listen to what I am recording at the same time? Please if anybody knows any way to help, please post. Figuring this out would help me decide if I want to purchase the Master's Edition of Wavepad.
djcyberlegend
Check the Windows recording mixer, make sure that the option to "Mute" the input you're recording from is not checked, also do this for the Stereo Mix.
Jtskater812
It is muted and that's the problem. Whenever I turn the volume up on it, and then try to record it mutes it. I can't get mono out, wave out mix, or CD player volume to stay up (and I don't know which one I should be turning up, but I tried them all). Every time I try to record it mutes the volume on all of these.
djcyberlegend
You might also need to check the Windows Recording Mixer, as I posted here for another user.
Jtskater812
Thanks, that wasn't exactly what I needed but it helped me to figure out my problem. I appreciate your help.
