WMP to mp3 Convert Not Working

Recommended Posts

I use AeroPlayer on a Tapwave Zodiac (a Palm PDA) to listen to music. I downloaded a song from a CD using Windows Media Player, and it ended up in my Library as a .wmp file. I installed NCH Converter and converted the file to an mp3, and installed it, but although the title appears in the Zodiac native music player, it won't play. It doesn't even appear in AeroPlayer, my preferred player! It's in the right MIDI file on my card. The bitrate is set at 128 on the converter. Is there something else I have to do to get it to play play on my Zodiac? Is there a way of ripping it as an mp3 in the first place?

Hello,

You working backwards.

1 - Work out what file types AeroPlayer will accept.

2 - Look at the formats WMP can rip to (v11 will do mp3, you could use NCH Switch for more options and flexibility)

3 - Use the high common denominator between 1 & 2
