Tobie
Everytime when I have used Switch SoundTap, my soundcardsettings for playing sounds in Windows XP is changed and switched to "Soundtap recorder". That means that I can only play sounds when I open Soundtap. How can I avoid this problem so that my soundcard (M-Audio)stays the device for playing sounds, after using Sound Tap? Guest nchaj
1. Ensure SoundTap has been closed down and it is not running in the task bar. 2. Click Start -> Control Panel. 3. Open Sounds and Audio Devices. 4. Select the Audio tab. 5. Ensure that the default device for Sound playback is set to your sound card and NOT to the SoundTap Recorder. 6. Close the control panel. 7. Try playing your other audio programs again.
