Barry G Posted October 8, 2008 Share Posted October 8, 2008 I haven't downloaded WavePad yet because I wanted to know if it will do what I need it to. I am an aspiring blues harmonica player and I own quite a few CD's by harmonica legends. Will I be able to record the CD and be able to remove just the harmonica track from the recording so that I can practice jamming along with the vocals and the rest of the instuments? Guest MichaelJee Posted October 28, 2008 Share Posted October 28, 2008 Hello, WP is free to download and try for 14 days, but regardless, it will not be able to remove a certain instrument. It would be an extremally complicated thing for any piece of software to complete. If the harmonica parts were prominent anough (read - loud) you could put it through an applicaiton like Twelve Keys and it "might" pick it out of the track for you by playing with the gain settings.
