Thanks for the response. I just tried that, but same issue. If I open the files in any other program, the audio sounds normal, but opening in VideoPad is distorted.

Anyone have any idea?

Hi, I'm trying to compose a video using dashcam video, however the audio that Videopad presents is very different from the original clips. WavePad opens the file just fine, but anything imported to VideoPad encounters the issue.

I even tried opening the videopad audio in Wavepad, and replacing with the source audio, yet it imports it back into VideoPad with the distortion again.

Whatever VideoPad is doing to the audio file is making it impossible to use, it's just a constant flicker of noise.
