Until about a day ago, if I set two clip points on theTimeline and right-clicked between them, there were options to Cut and Delete. The difference was that Delete left a blank section replacing the selection, but Cut deleted the selected clip completely. Now both actions have the same result - leaving a blank section. I am using V11.38.

Sorry I should have posted - I did re-install the program and it's all ok now thanks

In Fling I am getting these messages

Cannot start service because it has been disabled

Unable to start the background service

It is enabled in Windows Task Manager Startup and Task Manager shows the service running.

It was working till I performed some maintenance on the PC.

Any suggestions?

PS I would add a screenshot of the problem but there doesn't seem to be any way to add images to a post. If there is a way, it isn't obvious to me.
