How do I download older versions of PIxillion, the latest version no good at all....

What happened to 'save to original folder' option? Now if I forget to set output folder it saves to the last location which is usually not what I need

How do you turn off the splash screen on start up? 

I know you select an individual folder, but is there an option to convert images in the folder and any number of levels of subfolders?
