Well, I tried the control K thing and it didn't prevent reverb from being added to the supposed "locked" track.

I'm trying to create a stereo effect by duplicating tracks and putting a slight reverb on one but not the other. 

However when I put it on one, it's automatically added to the duplicate. is there a way I can add reverb to 

one track without it being added to it's duplicate?
