Thank you!! That worked. I wish we could customize shortcut keys and actions - Would make it much easier

I just recently upgraded to the latest version of Wavepad - Previously if I had a selection made and hit F5 or the record button, it would automatically delete the selection and record.   But now if I have audio selected and hit F5 it puts it in right after my selection and leaves the selection.  Along the same lines, if I recorded and didn't like what I had recorded - I could hit 'esc' and the recorded part would be selected still, I could hit F5 and it would just rerecord.

How can I get this feature back? I really dislike the extra key strokes this is now requiring.
