Hi Stevejl,
Can you describe step by step how you are recording?
Please note that if you want to record on a second track while listening to the first track, you must be doing so with headphones. Otherwise the microphone will pick up what the computer is playing.
Regards,
Ben
alternative- you can Line in instrument to prevent mic hearing playback

I am running MixPad on Windows OS.I bought my license. I sent a file to my guitar player who is running MixPad on Mac OS. His version of MixPad can not 'read it". Is there an export function in the licensed Windows OS version, to export in Mac OS file format? He said he "was able to download MixPad, but did not mention purchasing a license. Is it possible the "trial" download for Mac OS does not have the ability to read Windows OS version files- BUT licensed Mac version would?

I had a similar issue: analog line out from Session400 into computer 'in". On the Session I pushed the "pre" and cut the "post- to boost the preamp out AND I had to lie to the computer (Win 10). Under sound control: tell computer input is a microphone, then push the microphone volume.
