Thank you so much for replying...  we did find the issue and it is resolved, but I though I would give thanks for your help and in case anyone else had the same issue.  

The "Permission" error was actually with the file folder where the output recording would go.  Deleted that folder, created a new one and everything works find.

I have been using the trial version of SoundTap and this morning I purchased the full version and now I receive an error which says "Check Directory Permissions"

Please help, what do I do?
