  1. I'm working on a project for a NFP organization that needs fewer than 50 seats of single site limited instant messaging and voice intercom using a wireless LAN. As a NFP, the organization can get Live Communications Server (LCS) and associated Office Communicator messaging client for a very attractive price. The majority of the users will be transient volunteers so I am trying to make the user interface as simple and familiar as possible. The Communicator program looks and feels like Microsoft Messenger, AOL IM Yahoo Messenger etc. so users will only need to be trained on the voice calling features of Office Communicator to make three digit intercom calls. LCS and Communicator provide integrated instant messaging, voicemail and video conferencing capabilities but the voice features are only a front end for a SIP based PBX. I am considering using Axon to provide the SIP PBX and possibly Quorum to allow voice conferencing.

Is anyone using Axon as a backend switch fronted by Microsoft Live Communications Server?

    Regards,

    George

Hi, we are about to set up a demo with Live Communications Server and Exchange Server 2007 Unified Messaging. I'm afraid I don't have any expertise on telephony, and would like to know if Axon supports working with these products, what would be a minimum lab setup.

    Thanks
