  1. I am working on an image which is a scan of a drawing. It consists of black lines and letters on a mostly white background. When I attempt to straighten the image, I can almost see the grid but it appears to be a pure white and is almost invisible. Is there a way to change the color of that grid to something darker like black, blue, red, green?

  2. I've been using Corel paint shop Pro for a long time. I am totally new to this program. I think I'm in for a steep learning curve because of the huge differences in the GUI of both programs.

So, I placed a selection around part of my image because I wanted to change the brightness and contrast of that part. When I changed those settings, they affected the entire image. Is it possible to make these changes only to the part of the image that's selected?

We can add that to our list. It shouldn't be hard to implement. We've also been experimenting with different default layouts, so that may change on its own.

Thanks Josh. I've been using Corel paint shop Pro for many years and have complained to them about a number of issues and they've never responded. I am learning how to use this program and that's going to take a while because the GUI is totally different from paint shop Pro. How will you notify we users when you add improvements to the program?
