After I load Wavepad Version 16.81 and push Ctrl N to start a new recording session, the F5 key to start recording does not do anything. I can see that my input is being captured by the dcb sliding scale at the bottom right. 

My old computer is dying. I want to transfer my Wavepad program to the new one. How do I do this before my old computer is completely gone?
