I notice that newer versions have this option but I am running v5.03 and it does not have “recalculate coustomers balances” as an option under transactions. Is it possible to update without losing my data?

I have been using Express Accounts for three years and found it great and easy to use until now. The Balance Sheet will not read and take into account all my past entries. The entries are all still accurately recorded in the journal and I can get an accurate income statement, but the Balance Sheet is not reading the data earlier than this financial year. Can anyone help?
