I downloaded and installed the new version. Will ty it out.

not too sure what you mean. I simply used Switch to convert an *.ape file to *.mp3 and I noticed that, on playing the mp3 file created, the music starts abruptly, a few notes into the piece. -
I have the basic free version. conversion from ap to mp3 is without hitch. on playing back the mp3 file I noticed on several occasions that the beginning (the first couple of seconds) is clipped off. Why? What;s the solution to prevent this?

DVDs written with Express Burn don't play on a DVD player

I added a vob file (converted from mp4) and clicked Burn to DVD. It goes through the processes, confirms success, yet DVD visually appears it has no data written on it and it fails to play on my dvd player. I was not surprised.
Why should it report a successful burn yet nothing is on the dvd?
