  1. I think the proxy sever for vonage is "sphone.vopr.vonage.net:5061", try it with the port number and see if that will fix it.

    It seems my softphone was provisioned incorrectly and was also provisioned to a port on my VTA. So, some packets were being routed to the VTA and some to the computer, depending on who (re)registered most recently. Now everything works fine. Thanks for the help.

    Hi, and thanks for the reply. The username/password is correct - the log returns error 401 and then immediately afterwards registers successfully. It seems somewhere the SIP server drops the connection in between successful registrations. Not sure why.. Any help is much appreciated.

    Axon seems to keep dropping the softphone registration and the re-acquiring it, but it's leading to dropped calls (I think). Log is:

     

    18:12:00 Register authorization failed for sip:44xxxxxxxxxxx@sphone.vopr.vonage.net

    18:12:00 Error returned : 401 Unauthorized

    18:12:00 Check username or password for the proxy server.

    18:12:00 Registered as: sip:44xxxxxxxxxxx@sphone.vopr.vonage.net

    18:14:10 Register authorization failed for sip:44xxxxxxxxxxx@sphone.vopr.vonage.net

    18:14:10 Error returned : 401 Unauthorized

    18:14:10 Check username or password for the proxy server.
