  1. Sorry You're having a level of difficulty with the newer versions..

May I suggest downloading and registering an older version which may be more stable

Not sure which one was the most recently stable one,  any suggestions from the forum

would be welcome and helpful to this wavepad customer

    Thank You

  2. Thanks for the support suggestion, Gekker, I have Windows Vista.

I will have to try that, first to look for my registration purchase code

    to do a re install

Appreciate it much, I hope that will work.

  3. How can I troubleshoot wave pad from stopping during recording, when you hear playback the recording stalls for a second

or two. Do I have to re-install my wavepad v. 4.42 again ? Thank You

  4. Hi Brian,

I would think that possibly if you copy and save your looped section

into a new file and save it as a new file, perhaps ?

Give that a try, I never considered that one before, Thanks !

Let me know how it goes, that is if it does workout alright.

  5. That's great news ! Thanks for your response

I will congfigure it as you instructed and give it a go will let you know how it went and if it works for me too

Clever way you've devised of recording on a tuner timer option I will have to do the multiple windows updates again first before opening wavepad which version do you have registered ?

    Keep Cool !

    Thanks again !

  6. Yes I somehow cannot find the settings for input audio to record as well I have windows 8 master edition -If you contact wave pad maybe we could get it to work

Thanks I thought it was just me with this recording issue

  7. Yes, this is true Vapors

With Audacity you can bring the balance levels up

Wave Pad does not have what would be a great

helpful feature for any audio that mostly all the time

    is un-balanced

  8. Hi Vapors and Dragon

I use a really cool option in Wave Pad to pin point exactly where you want

to mark your first and second positions

It is in the edit tab

Play your audio file, zoom in as big as you would like (with the + and -)

at the bottom right and start and stop the playback with your space bar

Then position the red line cursor with the arrow buttons, it will play forward or

backward or just manually mark your red line cursor.

Finally, just stop where you want your first position is to be

    -edit tab-

    'Mark First Position'

    find your next edit point

    -edit tab-

    'Mark Second Position'

Perform edit options of your choices and enjoy !

Hope this helps, some, I'm always learning

with Wave Pad too, the favorite program I choose

to edit my ol' tape cassettes.

    Have Fun !

  10. Hi Cara,

This is one of my favorite features of Wave Pad and exactly why I chose it !

Simply do this and you'll be having fun with this great program as I have:

When you stop your red line of where you're marking your first position

click EDIT click MARK FIRST POSITION

then do the same when you get to your second postion and click SECOND POSITION

it selects the entire range of your first mark to your second, then you can apply whatever

you need to do for the many options to choose from such as speed and pitch or echo, etc.

Remember you can also hold the spacebar while pressing the forward and back arrows, neat huh !?

Have fun, Hope this helps, Thanks

  11. Empty your wavepad audio processing folder

Tools > Options > Audio Processing > Audio Working Folder

-use this specified folder as your output that wavepad works

-may have to empty it from time to time although wavepad

empties at closing. Hope this helps, Thanks
