I have configurd an extrnal lie using FXO GW (IPGear Claro GW).

When a I call to the PSTN line the IVM IVR is answering ask me to enter the ext' number that I want, after entering the ext number the ext ring (the ext is an ATA). but there is one way voice.

They can hear me but I can not hear them.

 

The GW an the Axon are on public IP the ext as private IP in the same LAN as the Axon (meaning the Axon and the ATA as the same public IP.

 

IF the EXT' is a softphone then I have 2 way voice and everything is ok.

 

Dose any one have an idiea what should I do.

Hi,

Check the codecs on the FXO and try to change one by one.

Disable the silence supresion on the GW.

Check if the manufacturer of your GW have a new release of firmware, and update it.

Hi,

I recently buy an Grandstream HandyTone-488 (HT-488), Its 1 FXS-1FXO port. I was configure succesfully to forward incomming call from FXO to any extension on AXON, but I cant find the way to configure for make calls from any AXON's extension thru FXO. I want to use the landline connected to the FXO port to generate outgoing calls from AXON's extensions.

I was read the manual and search on the website of Grandstream, and on Internet but unsuccesfully.

Please, if somebody know and can help me, I'm waiting for instructions!
