.wav file enlarge volume problem; in WavePad Posted August 8, 2013 I have a .wav file from which the volume is to low. I know how to give it more volume with the editor, but when i save the file i need to give it all kind of settings (Format and Attributes ) before i can actualy save it. The problem is that i don't know the original settings of the wav file before i changed the volume so i need to guess and there are so many different options. I choose a few that i thought were right but when i then use the wav file it doesn't give sound. the wav file is a dialog of text that is said by a figure in a mod (game) i am making. should you need to see a example then please look here, (were you can see some of the wav dialog files being played in game, this is before i changed the volume, and the scene is just a work in progress to test the wav files); i choose for the now these settings, that didn't work; Format; PCM Uncompressed Attributes; 16000 Hz, 32 Bits, Stereo my question; is there a way to just save the wav again after i made the volume of sound more without having to fill in all these Format and Attributessettings. There should be a way i assume, because when i save the wav as a mp3 file i don't need to fill in all these things. Can't save it as a mp3 though because the game engine needs a wav file to be able to play it in these scenes. I really hope someone can help me out with this because i am now kind of stuck, thanks for reading, Leon
