  1. You need to have Express Talk v1.01 and IMS v3.05 installed to use VoIP. Please follow the instructions in topic Settings ~ General of IMS Help file.

    nchngoc,

I bought one license for express talk and another one IMS almost 2 years ago. I could not make on hold system to work at that time. I tried some update files sent by tech support but it did not work properly and I stopped using it.

I really like the system. I would like to know if you still have similar issues... I would like to go ahead and give it a shot.

    Thanks

    Troy

  2. Mohammed,

Did you able to make it work? I got Business version of Express Talk and IMS.. IMS is not playing on the other party's phone. In best case it just plays 2 seconds.

Please let me know if u manage to solve this issue.. I am pretty helpless..Tried 4 PCs, and spent at least 6-7 hours...No luck so far

    Here's the problem:

I can't hear the other person speaking to me in Express Talk.

    But:

    - the ringing tone is OK

    - the Audio test is OK

    - the other person hears me well

    - I tried all the options in Audio/Recording, Playing, Communication Device, Quality-Bandwidth with no succes

    - Skype telephony is OK

    - having the same optins in Ekiga under Linux and everything is OK

However, when I run the network test, Express Talk says (even if I disable the firewall, stop all the running software and Windows firewall is disabled):

"Your computer firewall seems to be blocking UDP port 8000 (or internet connection is down.

Please open your firewall software and enable UDP the SIP and RTP ports 5060, 5070, 8000, 8002, 8004, 8006...8020 to allow incoming audio packets then click Yes to try again."

However, it connects to my SIP provider and I can call and receive calls.

    "Registered as: sip:xxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxx.xxx"

What's the matter?  Why can't I hear the other person?
