  1. I could have written that!!!! I've been using NCH for two years after tolerating all the incessent pop ups. Then I upgraded to Windows 7 and NCH wanted $79 for a new version. I was put on the "free trail" period, when that expired I simply can't get the damn thing off my computer, it's like a leach. It is a default for music player and it's not even loaded into the system. So now what, do I have to pay them money to take away their pogram like paying someone to take away the trash! If that's the way they want to make money it should tell you something about their product. I think I'm going to pay them for the technical assistance, if someone here can help, other than listen, I'm open to ideas.

    thanks,

There is a excellent uninstaller and files cleaner called Revo uninstaller. This works far better than the stock win 7 uninstaller. The program shows up on revo. It will also remove any registry or file scraps the programs own uninstaller leaves behind. Oh yeah, It's also Free.

  2. This software is a pest. It does not uninstall on expiry of trial period. It keeps asking me to register with popup dialogs and directs me to the web site to register and buy stuff. I dont recommend anyone to use the trial versions unless you plan to buy this software. Its a nag. Anyone has any similar experiences and solutiosn on how I can remove this and other NCH software, please email me at spydera@hotmail.com :angry::angry::angry:<_<

  3. Please can you offer a guide on how to uninstall the software completely. I have searched my system for an uninstall feature, but can find none. I have also consulted the FAQ, but am not finding the information I need there. Please help, I need to remove all NCH software from my system, but have no idea how to do this.

I have tried to contact technical support, only to find it is apparently a paid privelage and not a free one.

    Many thanks,

  4. New to Rip Express.

Getting wrong info on many of my inserted CDs for ripping.

    Anybody with a possible solution??

If no solution what other free rippers can you recommend that do not present this problem?

I'm brand new here so someone yell at me if I mess something up. To answer your question, I had the same thing happen with the default settings. You are given two choices from which to get the info, switch to the other one. It worked for me. Let me know if that helped.
