How can I 'wave sound' files to 'MP3' in Discussion about the many different audio file formats Posted June 6, 2006 Can anyone help me to know how to convert 'wave sound' file to MP3 format. I have a portable MP3 player from my mum in China (I am in Australia) and it has an inbuilt mic which i can record on. When i download these recordings to my computer, Windows Media Player will play them, but I cant open them on any other music programs i have. I would like to put them onto a CD for friends, but it wont recognise the format. Any info would be greatly appreciated. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's because media protection, i suppose! Regards!
