  1. Yes that's exactly what's happening to me. Have you found a solution? Thanks.

     

    Although NCH tried hard to help me out, my solution came from the tech support of another piece of software that would not run properly under Win 7.

    What I did to solve this was to change the compatability of the .exe file in this way:

     

    Right click on the filename (videopad.exe) and choose properties. In the Compatibility tab I put a checkmark in the "Disable desktop composition". That's it!

  2. Right after loading a video with the Add button and clicking on the file name in the Media List box the first frame of the video loads into the Selected Clip Preview box and then I get the 'going round in circles' cursor that Windows 7 uses. Nonstop. I have to go to Windows Task Manager to get out of it. The progam seems to work fine on my XP machine and I've downloaded the latest update to see if it improves. Actually I think it gets worse. Anyone else experience this mess?
