I'm having a problem recording from my desktop. I am using the Mac version of Debut and when I try to record from a device, such as my webcam, the recording is previewed on the Debut window fine. However, when I click the screen option, instead of a preview it's just a black screen. I thought maybe it was just an unfortunate defect I could work around, but when I tried to record my screen it just recorded black. All that I can actually see in the screen preview besides black is my cursor. I'm not sure what the problem is and if a similar topic has already been posted I apologize but I wasn't able to find one. I'd really appreciate some help.

Same here, Ashley. I'm desperately searching the net for answers. I'll post on this thread if I find anything. Will you do the same?

If there isn't a fix for this, is there somewhere to download the older version of express scribe?

I'm looking for the older version (specifically: 5.02). This latest version (5.16) keeps crashing on me.

I haven't been able to find version 5.02 available on the NCH site or elsewhere on the internet. Do you know how we could contact the developer? I would think it would be fairly simple for NCH to make 5.02 available to us.
