Thank you for your suggestion, but my clips lag without me adding any transition effects between them. In other words, they lag where there should be a "straight cut." Would you happen to know how this problem could be solved? Thanks!

Hello everyone. I am new to Videopad, and I would appreciate some help on this frustrating issue. I'm trying to edit a video, but there is a split-second lag during the transitions between every clip on my video track. The lag is there when I look at the "sequence preview" as well as the normal "preview." My original video file is an avi file with a bitrate of 112kbps. Does anybody know what could be causing this lag? Thank you in advance!
