Hi,
I purchased Zulu recently to do some standard mixing from my laptop. I run on
XP
SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio
or EMU Tracker Pre external soundcard
Asio4all v. 2.10
To get Headphone output in Zulu a soundcard that supports multiple outputs is needed, according to the help menu. No matter which soundcard i enable/disable in the control menu, none of these enables me to choose different outputs for Main and Headphones under Options/Audio in Zulu.
Asio4all is recommended by NCH to solve the problem, but no matter what I do, the output channel is 'Unavailable' in the WDM Device List in Asio4all. The reason seems to come from a conflict with Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth. How do I get around this problem?! I've looked at several forums of how to disable Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth, but none of these come up with a useful solution. Has anybody come across this problem and found a solution?
