Wavepad 4.02

reel to reel recorder -line in I believe WP Record control shows Soundmax as the default

When I record using Wavepad and any little disruption happens..say I have to restart the reel, Wavepad won't let me restart to record. Goes to (Not Responding) I even have to reboot the computer to use Wavepad further.

Is this my setup or some lack of knowledge on my part? Is there a workaround. I paid for tech support but suspect my time is up and it's unused.

the first 2 times you run a newly installed product you get prompts to backup your purchase, failing that go to C:\program files\NCH Swift Sound\Wavepad and burn this entire folder to disc. It contains the install/uninstall and manual.

I have bought, (downloaded), registered and used Wavepad.

How can I put it on a cd in case of computer failures. If I start to record from my folder Programs Downloaded I get a warning that any additional information [i assume they are talking about the registration codes] will be deleted if I continue.
