  1. I agree the solution works when you are in front of your the computer Express Talk BE is installed what of if you are away from the office si ther no way you can control Express TAlk by Telent or something to answer the calls and perfomr the transfer or conference call

     

     

    Hey Philippe, install ExpressTalk Business Edition using one of the VoIP lines you want to use to test if my above request may be able to help.

     

    I call into ExpressTalk Business Edition (the VoIP with a PSTN number) using my cell phone. 

     

    Then I answer the call with ExpressTalk Business Edition. 

     

    Next I press the conference button, dial my land line, press call, then press the conference button again (before or after I answer the land line).

     

    Then I answer the land line, and voila, I can talk from my cell phone to my land line with no loss, save a few seconds lag on the return of voice from the land line to the cell phone.

     

    If this works using your VoIP carrier, then the customization above should definitely help in your business and in general.

     

    I'll do my best to get NCH to get ExpressTalk Business Edition's conference feature into IVM standard, so all may benefit.  I've been speaking with IVM developers, but can't seem to help them understand.  Here's my change order request:

     

    Regarding IVM:

    1. request: allow IVM to conduct conference calls (remaining online for the duration of the conference)

    2. example: as there is an OGM transfer option, there would be an OGM conference option

    3. relief: this allows a workaround to some VoIP gateways inability to transfer calls but have the ability to conference calls

    4. desirability: other customers express this request on the IVM, ExpressTalk, and Axon forums over the past 18 months

    5. model: ExpressTalk BE effectively utilizes this request in its confrencing functionality

     

    If anyone else wants this feature, let IVM know by posting here.

    And if you can better explain the above change order to IVM developes, by all means post it as my English may not be so good.

  2. Yeah does anybody know what the

    1. command line instruction to set up a conference call between two numbers

     

     

     

    Do you know what command(s) ExpressTalk Business Edition sends to:

     

    1. put a caller on hold

    2. call another, and then

    3. conference in the last call?

     

    A request to get this into IVM was sent this week.  I'm excited to see this in IVM soon, but in the mean time I'm trying to get IVM to use conference for VoIP but don't know the commands to send. Thanks.

  3. For some reason some calls to the extension (express talk ) are sent straight to voicemail) even though the extension are logged on using Expresstalk.

     

     

    I would appericate any help.

     

    I dont know if the problem is with Axon losing registration

  4. When i transfer a voip call (blind transfer) the result is one way audio , they can hear what i say but i cant hear what they say. I would be greatful if any on e knows what the solution to this problem is?

  5. I am having the same problem and I am using express talk 2.0 any ideas what iam doing wrong because after a few minutes. The call is transferred to voicemail and in cases where the voice mail hasnt been set up it gives me an error

     

    Hi

     

    Running Axon v 1.06, on a Windows 2003 Server.  I have setup the extensions and dial plans accordingly,   Incomming & Outgoing calls can be made no problem with great audio.

     

    However, after Axon has been running for several hours, it will not remember that extensions are logged in and i get the following error "It is possible no phone is connected logged on.".   If i check on the extensions page then it shows that the phone is no longer registered, and i have missed the external call.  

     

    There is no problem with my IP Phones which all seem to show the same issues, and if i use the SIP providers without going through axon, then they never lose there registration settings and all incomming calls answer without issues.  

     

    Is this a known bug?

  6. Managed to get this working too.

     

    Just remember that whenever you change any settings in Uplink to exit and re open Uplink again.

    I cant get it to work how exactly did you get expresstalk to dial a skypeout number or skype username . Thanks in advance.

     

    SO far I have been able to get Expresstalk ring when on an incoming call but cannot place calls to skype numbers or skype username
