  1. How do you get the free version to work for Mac?

     

    It would have been nice to get this information on the website, or before downloading, or even on the software update page!

     

     

     

    It is free.

     

    they have put the paid and free version in one.

     

    to get the free version to keep working

     

    go to add and remove programs in the control pannel

     

    select express invoice and uninstall there will be an option to downgrade to the FREE version

     

    select it and click next or finnished ( I can not remember which as I have done it ages ago)

  2. Referring to the original issue of the thread - I'm running Mac version 2.04 and the restore function does not work. I was trying to transfer from my PC to my Mac, so I made a backup from the PC to a network drive and restored it with the software on the Mac. The Mac did something while it was "restoring" - I could tell it was quickly copying or scanning those files or something. I eventually got it to work by manually coping the files from the Documents and Settings (NCH Software/Express Software) to the Mac folder (which is in Users/Shared/Library/Application Support/NCH/Express... etc)

  3. I had the same problem today on my Mac (2.4 GHz Intel MacBook running OS 10.5.6 running Express Invoice 2.04). I think it happened after I had to force quit the software because of a bug. When I tried to launch, it would just sit in the dock and nothing would happen. After restarting the computer, the app still would not launch. I had to re-install the software (luckily I didnt have any invoices yet so I didnt lose any data)

    I hope someone will be able to help.

     

    I installed Express Invoice for the Mac and set up my invoice and then closed down the application. Today, I have tried to start the application but it does not start up, does anyone have a solution or suggestions.
