  1. Hallo,

anyone knows if it is possbile to change the message related with "use special mailbox menu (1,2,9 and #)? This is a nice feature, but it needs to be customized with local language to be useful. I searched everywere in the settings, and also in program directories: I was not able to find the messages to change it!

  2. I just got IVM v4.08 from a friend and installed it on the machine I have been trying to get v4.11 working on for several weeks. IT WORKS.

NCH needs to take a serious look at v4.11 and see what the problem is.

If any one would like a copy of 4.08 let me know and I will send it. B)

  3. Hallo,

I have been using IVM 4.11 for 3 mounths with no problems. Now installing the product onto a new server (using card TELCURL4LV) I have found this

    1) Tring to lead a message on a mailbox IVM disconnetes the call saying "Message too short 00:00 seconds). Ok I though that I've forgotten sono parameter and so I was comparing with version 4.11 setting.

    2) After made some calls to IVM I get in fews minuts a disk full: 100Gbytes!!!!! I discovered IVM temporari file stored in c:\documents settings\user\local settings\temp as big as 93 GBYTES!!!!! :o

Please NCH check this out because its very dangerous.

Fortunately I kept a installation filies of 4.11 version....

    bye

  4. Hallo,

we are testing Express Scribe in our prodction enviroment. We are getting some troubles because ExpressScribe takes track of opened audio files. What we need is something as simple as: open the audio file, trascript it and then close the program. When we open another audio file we would like have no memory of previuos files. The reason for this is because the audio file are store into a centralized web doccument content manager. Therefore, when we want to transcript a audio file we just double click on the object stored in the web interface. Since the audio file (.wav) is associated with ExspressScribe software, the progam is opend automatically. For this reason is such way if the operator finds previuos records in the task bar he will get confused. I understood that a way to solve this problem could be use correctly the "done" or "delete" commands when a dictation is transcripted, but this introduce more operations into the workflow. Unfortunately I coudn't find any option to clean automattically ExpressScribe input dir when the program is closed. Do you know any way to solve this?

    Thanks
