I tried several voice modems with Answering Attendant and they all worked (with the exception of caller I.D.) until I got Vista. Just finding a 56k modem to work with Vista was tough...most are evidently manufactured based on ancient designs. This one was just designed a couple of years ago so I took a flier. It not only works well, but for the first time I have caller I.D.!!!!
Like I said, your experience may be different...

I don't want a default mailbox because I don't want the responsibility for checking it and sorting it out- I want callers to choose the appropriate box to leave a message or not be able to leave one at all.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Chuck

"11:33:28 No line devices!" indicates that you haven't installed your modem/telephony board into IVM. You can simply ignore all the STUN/SIP configuration log traces if you're not using VoIP.
Thank you.

At one point I decided to setup VOIP because I thought I had to. I think I screwed up my IVM configuration forever. I AM NOT USING VOIP but I get this in my log:

Please tell me how I can disable VOIP and return to my good old IVM land-line answering device.
Thanks,

Caller ID works well on my telephones. Everything else works with IVM but the caller ID. Is there anything anyone can suggest I try?
Thanks!
