Sorry - I never figured it out. The best work around I could come up with was to CTRL X and then paste into a different file. I would then close the original file without saving if I wanted to retain what I cut out.

I just saw your post and wonder if you ever figured this out? I just installed an updated verison of WavePad and while I never had this problem in the other version this version gives me the same message. Did you find anything?

Anytime that I use the copy command or control C, I get the following message:
Unable to create file "C:\DOCUME~1\RON\locals1\TEMP\clipboard.wav"forsaving
Does anyone know how I can fix this problem - I am a very novice WavePad user. I understand how to use the copy and paste command in other applications. Thanks...
Express Burn 4.14 Error Writing to Disk

When attempting to burn a Data Disk (CD) from a 6 hour audio WMA file, I consistently receive an Error Writing to Disk message with the further info:

Sense Data 05 21 00
