  1. Sorry about double posting here but I've had a reply from the tech guys at NCH which has solved the problem. Quite simply all I've done is unplug the speakers while recording, simple and its works, goodbye echo.

  2. You're not alone on this ( http://nch.invisionzone.com/index.php?show...818&hl=echo )and I can't find a solution. I've sent a message to the developer to see if he may know of a possible solution.

Sent an email to tech. support hope they can sort it. I'm very disappointed. I've got two files on a Sony Walkman that I would llove to retrieve. Lost all the files on the hard drive when it crashed and had to be replaced last year. That's a story in itself. I can play them on the walkman or via sonic stage interface but I can't convert the files to play via itunes or be able to burn a CD.

I haven't the details of song or artist otherwise I'd simply download them again hence the purchase of soundtap which I thought would be the answer to my predicament.

  3. The fastest reply on the entire forum! :)

... and it contains 'Our technical support team will, on a best efforts basis, review posts and answer questions.'

Everybody is aware that you've got other things to do than loaf about in the forum. But you should be able to check, say, once a day or every two, three days (no big deal with that few posts), to try and help at least the people with zero answers to their topic. This is customer service, as there sure is a great percentage of people trying the free software before deciding to buy. Check out how it is done on other forums.

Half of the first 20 topics in this section, some having been posted last year, have zero answers. Does that prove my point?

I've just tried to help a guy filing to itunes. 922 people have read his post without a single reply, OK so technically it's not a sound tap issue, more basic computing issue but isn't that what these forums are for..help.. we all start out with zero knowledge

  4. Can someone tell me how to get my Soundtap recording into my i tunes library?

    Thanks

Can't believe you haven't had a reply since jan. look i'm no expert what i did was open a new folder in my itunes folder, named it sound tap, then in sound tap settings browse the recordings folder to find sound tap folder you've just created click on it and all your recordings will end up there. just a case of going to the recorded file click to play and as long as itunes is your default player it will appear on your itunes interface and play. Good idea to rename file before playing, they all have date and time as part of the file ext. if you're recording lots it, can get confusing.

Sure to be somebody knows an easier way.

  5. Just purchased sound tap have an echo problem. I've followed the advice given in help section i.e. WMP - Tools> options>speakers > properties> direct sound tap recorder but without success. Any ideas anybody?
