I want to move our on hold player to a new pc using our id and key but it won't accept them. It mentions restoring from a full backup. I don't know how to do that. Anyone out there help?
Hi, not sure if you still need but thought I would document for ppl who are interested.
I copied 3 registry key's out to .reg files, took a full copy of the Program files directory, and moved to another machine, re-installed the registry keys, and the program files folder and it worked fine.
The last part is somewhat more difficult, but the key we goto is
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Licenses]
You may just take the whole tree and import to another pc, not sure if it is designed by IMS or used by multiple vendors - either way if your not worried it will get the job done.
