I would like to be able to record both sides of a softphone conversation to a single mp3 file in real time.
I have used ExpressTalk satisfactorily to make uncompressed .wav files.
I downloaded the VRS package and have successfully recorded 2 compressed channels, one for the audio coming from the microphone and one for the audio coming from the party on the other end.
I want to be able to email a copy of the conversation immediately after it occurs without having to manually mix the two channels and compress the result. I this possible?
I know what I want to do is possilble using an analog adapter, since the two ends are already present on one channel. However I want to do it with a softphone. What am I missing?
