Is there anywhere in Express Scribe to configure and use a time stamp? I have a few different vendors I work for and one of them needs time stamping. I love Express Scribe but can't use it for the company I really want to. I have to use a different player and don't want to. If there are any suggestions or help on this, please contact me.

I think someone's playing with us. Why not just post the Macro instead of having people supply their e-mail addresses?
Sounds like a scam.
In any event, to insert timestamps into a Word document, in Express Scribe go to Settings, then select Pedals and Hot Keys. Click Add at the bottom of the box to create a System-wide Hot Key. A Window pops up asking you to press a key. In my version of Express Scribe F1 and F11 are free. I chose F1. Then a Select Command box pops up. Scroll down to Copy Time and select this.
Now, as you play the audio file in Express Scribe, all you have to do is press your Hot Key (F1 for me) at the point where you hear the word you want to time stamp, and then CTRL V to paste it in Word.
Bingo. Two keystrokes and you're pasting timestamps!
Please don't abuse me. Am not doing anything to harm you.
I don't want simply put my macro here for public download. If anybody really needs it, they have to ask me with their email id. I don't think anything is unusual in it.

Hi there. Good for you for creating that macro!
You get TONS of Kudos from me for sure. I am also very interested and excited to get a copy of the macro you came up with. Would you please send that to me? I will use it for my transcription business as well. Any shortcuts are always appreciated and I use macros in Word all the time.
Thanks,
Roxanna

In Word, wherever you want to insert a time stamp, hit ctl T and then V
I dont think it(hit ctl T and then V) would work with word and Express Scribe.
Thank you

I'm required to enter in a time code every 30 seconds. Is there a way to set up Express Scribe to automatically do this?
Please give some more information. I think , i can help you

I'm fairly new to Express Scribe, but not that new to transcription. I need to enter the timestamp like this: [00:00:00], but Express Scribe enters it like this: 0:00:00:0. So I need hours, minutes, and seconds, and in brackets. I've looked all over, and I can't figure out how to change it. Please help!! This would save me so much time!
Please send me your email d . i can send you a word macro . it will insert customized scribe time in to a word document cursor position .

We are trying to work out if it is possible to insert the timecodes from Scribe into a word doc. As far as we can see the stop / start shortcuts work but we cannot get it to copy the time. We have set up a new shortcut/hotkey of ctrl + shift + T as copy time and this works on the scribe doc but not on MS programs. Does anyone know how we can make this work / if it's possible?
Many thanks
I have a word macro for your use. By pressing a short cut we can put scribe time in to MS word cusor location. not only time with some words too. eg inaudable(3:57) or simply (3:57) . Please send your mail id to me

Times New Roman"]Would you please tell me how you make that macro for getting the time stamp from ES into my Word document? I have several jobs where I have to manuall put in the time stamp every so often, this current one needs it every minute, and would find this very helpful! If the ability for doing that is right there evident on ES, I haven't seen it and am sorry to bother you about this. Thank you ---
Please send your email id to me
