My 14-day trial period is up. When I open Switch, I get a message that states the trial version has expired and that I must purchase to continue. I am then directed to the website. When I close out of the website, my Switch closes. Did I perhaps download the wrong version of Switch? I thought I downloaded the free version. Any leads?

Sorry for the late reply. I've just tweeked my settings so that I can receive e-mail notification of replys. Anyway, thank you for the lead. I will check out WavePad.

Not sure I'm posting this in the correct spot, so pardon me. I need to be able to transcribe using an equalizer. Do you have a software recommendation? Will this equalizer run in the background? I'm totally ignorgant of this topic. But I need the software. I'd like to try a freebie before I make a purchase.

Can anyone tell me how long it would take to transfer a one-hour wav file, as well as a one-hour mp3 file, as well as a one-hour dss file? I know that the length of time may vary depending on their ISP, but if you can provide a generalization, that would be very helpful to me, as I have no earthly idea.
