Thank you, but no, this did not resolve the issue. I have one video track that I am working with! The audio and video seem to be synced though.

1. I'm running v16.08

2. I have changed the GPU from Default to None (CPU only)

3. I have restarted about 6 times.

4. This is a brand new HP Envy; Drivers up to date

5. I have saved 3 different versions of this same project.

6. In addition to the video track blackouts, EVERY TIME I make a cut, the remaining video and audio lose sync; maximizing the Preview freezes it; random clips are popping up in the sequence preview. Right now the preview is playing one thing and the sequence timeline is showing something else.  

7. Your THIS release link doesn't work.

As I am editing video, the tracks are blacking out on their own.
