I installed a trial version of DeskFX and am trying to boost the volume of my audio output through an external sound card (Behringer) but DeskFX is waiting for a stream to start, even though audio is already being output and audible. How do I get DeskFX to recognize the audiostream on my PC?

I installed a trial version of DeskFX and am trying to boost the volume of my audio output through an external sound card (Behringer) but DeskFX is waiting for a stream to start, even though audio is already being output and audible. How do I get DeskFX to recognize the audiostream on my PC?
