  1. I have some important questions in using normalization options and how Mixpad saves them and then are handled in Wavepad

Normalizing audios files with any option except the top level option say to  -6 db leads to files that produces ___peaks to 0dbm ____

The interested person  uses Wavepad and requires a result file at -6db peak, otherwise he will process the file  again to suit his needs

The questions is : Is that -6db RMS measurement or peak level? Ans what i can do to adjust that for the -6 level in EBU or any other format?

    Also I found a bug [?]

Please look at the enclosed video. I m trying to do a save a preset with EBU format that is saved into peak loudness or average RMS What I m missing?

You can see some reverting to the original waveform after the APPLY. I did a UNDO keyboard operation  before getting the next step:

Sorry folks I m waiting for solutions other than tickets.

  2. To anyone who can help This question is  process oriented than program

As far as  I know and tested there are a few ways of mixing up tracks and I still am looking for the most useful technique

(1)Prior to use mixpad I used a set of programs for joining mp3 files that could in the end exceed  the requested time of  30 minutes together with the ‘voiceplugs’  (voice mp3s in between music mp3s) If the time was  less then 31-32 minutes he simply shrunk the time to 30 minutes (1 bemole less ) because ‘this is nil difference to he human ear’

    (2) Jutin case the file was more than 32 minutes he simply faded out the last file

    (3) in the third idea  is  simply to limit  the time  each track is mixed  so that mixing starts with the start of first track and  ends with the end of last track and the remain are freely mixed up

Which if these 3 approaches you think are better for a mixing session ?  I will appreciate also any other useful ideas.

IN  Short the ideas are written mathematically  in a 30 minutes available mixing

    (1)  If total time <31,5 minutes = Shrink by time

    (2) if  total time >32 minutes then fade last track

    (3) start an end song ends  determine the ends of mixing

  3. Here is their reply

... the program will apply the effects to the whole track.  In this case, you may need to split the clip and move the parts you want to compress to a different track on MixPad.

Based in my today's experiments dong that is  also a bit complex task : cut and re-paste the selection then use the volume control as shown in the  bottom left triangle scale sign  of the clip to adjust the volume level Still a rather complex task... I just put that here just in case someone is interested

  4. Hello

Now i m using also mixpad after making a registration in this program

MY first question is simile but not found any solution so far  as  muchi i tried

In several voice overs i need just to lower the volume  by several db over a selection in a track. Instead of lowering the selection the dialogue it lowers the volume of the whole track...... Sometimes i preferred  to do a crossfade inside the selection by redesigning the road but i dont think it a good idea

I need proper and more simpler ideas !!!

  5. I finally  registered with this very useful program . it really  replaces all programs i use so far, wwhich (they) act directly into the mp3 chunks and normalize split and join files (ie no conversion)

I run  a recurring project in voluntary amauteur level with joining or mixing songs and looking for a fast and simple way to do work in the simplest and fastest way Her is the idea in mixpad which is now requiring registration.

I dont intend to get more in using Mixpad.  Please let me know on how can i do that job with automation in wavepad!

    Thank you in advance!

    Thanks in advance

Yesterday while  trying to do some cross-fade for 4th time  inside a mp3 with another the processing  frozen as shown in the linked photo. The previous tries were successful but fir that time processing stopped in the middle

I did several restarts of the program and then for the operating system to have the same results

I don't know if this happens because im still unlicenced but i aim to do very soon. this is the second say using the program and i am quite satisfied with it. At least more than Audacity which is more suseful in  audio  engineering projects!
