Hi, as the title says, I'm transcribing 12th century chant, and I need solid notes with no stems. Is there a way to do this in Crescendo or do I need different software? Thanks.

Hi, I have a choral piece that changes from four parts to five parts half way through. When I try to add a new part on a new page, it adds that part to the whole document. Is there something like MS Word page/section break that will allow different formatting for different sections of a document?

Can this not be achieved by entering all the notes as normal (beamed into groups of 4), then selecting the THIRD note and right clicking for the context menu, select "Beams" and "Break Primary Beam", that gives me two beamed pairs - reconnecting them is more fun!
I can confirm that this works. In my case I wanted a group of three eighth notes separated into a single and a beamed pair. Trying to break from the first note in the group doesn't work, but you can right click on the second note (or the note after the place that you want the break to be) then Beams, then Break Primary Beam.

Hi, @Rideau!
Licensed versions of the program do not include watermarks. Attached is a screenshot of how an exported score looks like, using a licensed version of Crescendo.
That's very helpful, thanks!

Hi,
I'm using the free version 8.78 and consider buying while Crescendo is on sale. With the free version, when I print out a score it comes with a rather large font line of text at the bottom saying, "Created with Crescendo @ NCH Software. (Unlicensed) Non-commercial home use only."
So my question is, does it print a similar statement in the paid Home Edition and in the Master's Edition? If so, do either of the paid versions allow you to alter the size or other characteristics of the font? Thanks.
Add part half way through piece?

Thanks, but autoformat simply distributes notes within a measure. I have a piece in which the first several sections are SATB. The final section is SSATB. I would prefer not to place the first and second soprano together in the same staff. Therefore I need a section of the piece to have four linked staves, and another section to have five linked staves. At the moment I've had to write it as two separate documents.
