Convert *.mpc to *.mP3 (or any other format in Switch list)

I am unable to convert *.mpc files in Switch. I get a message that says "Switch could not locate a plug-in for the file with extension .mpc. You will need to download and install the plug-in yourself from here: http://www.nch.com.au/components/mpcdec.exe " So I download and open the file. Still get the message. Move the .exe file to a folder in the components folder and name it in a format like the others. Still get the message. Help me, Obi Wan!
