Express Scribe v4.23 for Windows has been released.

• Added: AMR file format support.
  
• Added: WordPerfect *.wpd document support in the "Template Typing Document" list in the Options dialog.
  
• Added: "Remove All" button to "System Wide Hot-Key Assignment" list in the Options dialog.
  
• Added: Welcome message now starts playing automatically on first run.
  
• Added: "<Type notes for the currently selected dictation here>" prompt.
  
• Changed: Tool-bar buttons now shown on two separate tool-bars. (Buttons are now all visible when using 800x600 screen resolution).

• Changed: Show/hide column functionality for dictation list moved from View menu "Select Columns" item to list header right-click context menu. (And column names for tags are now set in the Options dialog).

• Fixed: Memory corruption caused by file format of the pending speech-to-text file list (tspeechrec.dat). (Now using file-store records).
  
• Fixed: SAPI4 speech-to-text engines are no longer ignored when Dragon NaturallySpeaking v9 is detected.
  
• Fixed: Text created by SAPI4 speech-to-text engines wasn't being added to dictation notes.
  
• Fixed: Several menu items and tool-bar buttons are now only enabled when exactly one dictation is selected.
