I'd like to go the PCI telephony board route, together with NCH's recording and greeting ("Calls my be recorded", etc) software. Could you tell me what hardware (and ideally, which NCH app.s) I'll need in addition to the TELCTAS4 board ? My confusion lies in whether or not I'll need an additional (four-channel ?) soundcard in order to interface with NCH's recording software. I was also wondering how the NCH recording app/s actually names audio files. I'd like to be able to search calls by customer name/number. Are there any NCH/other apps that have customer record management capabilities (or are able to interface with CRM apps by other developers) ?
