Mobile Phone for Dictation

I have been considering reducing digital hardware and centralising more functions on the mobile.

 

With dictation it seems that most vendors do not have much functionality however the i-Phone may provide this as the i-POD records MP3 files (and perhaps other formats) with an hour plus capability.

 

As one wants end to end functionality there needs to be

1 sufficient storage and record, rewind, delete and pause functionality

2 wire and bluetooth to the desktop or email from phone (probably too slow)

3 email from desktop to typist

4 transcription software for the typist.

 

Has anyone used such a system or has anyone suggestions as to best way to make this work.
