jameslbirke
I've been using Corel paint shop Pro for a long time. I am totally new to this program. I think I'm in for a steep learning curve because of the huge differences in the GUI of both programs. So, I placed a selection around part of my image because I wanted to change the brightness and contrast of that part. When I changed those settings, they affected the entire image. Is it possible to make these changes only to the part of the image that's selected? Jim Birke
Jsalgado
Try to go to "Tools", and "Regional FX" located on the top left corner. This will allow you to apply the effect to only a section of the image.
