i seem to be having problems, plugging in my phone. I cannot use modem? Audio just stops, do you know where i can get a cable for the audio out on my sound card to the data port on the phone? Or even a suggested phone that will work

Is Your modem a voice modem? Searcj for TAPI on google's.

Ye, its a data/fax/voice, bt havn't got a clue what i'm talking about, according to NCH, you plug a cable from your line out on soundcard to phone, ok where do i get a cable to do that?

 

Thats why i tried setting the sound to go thru the modem and use cables i got into phone.
